Excellent product; a few consumer caveats & suggestions for improvements

I'm a 61 YO ridiculously vain abt her skin, often complimented on it. Devotee of sunscreen and have used many varieties, so... Pro: best sunscreen I have ever used, and, as others have said, also truly acts a primer slightly blurs imperfections, helps prevent makeup settling into lines. Love that it has such a high SPF, and while non-greasy, it feels quite emollient. Con: Ultra thick texture makes it hard to get out of the tube. Because it's pricey, I always cut open the tube with a scissors to get the last quarter or so of the product. Plus, have to warm it and smoosh it between pals to get it to wear I can spread it on face. If LaRiche-Posay could make it slightly thinner and/or change packaging, and/or lower price slightly, it would be an improvement. It also seems like such a small amount for the price.When one reads the ingredients, they are not inherently expensive --- clearly it's the way it's formulated. Still, I love it.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50

Excellent protection from the hot California sun. I use this when I lapswim in our outdoor pool and it stays on beautifully. Gives a nice sheen to your skin so very little makeup is needed.
